A. W. Tillinghast gave us back-to-back par three's. This is the third par three and players will likely be hitting their third different iron to the largest green at Quaker Ridge. This green of over 40 paces is surrounded on three sides by bunkers. It slopes from back-left to front-right with the greatest degree of slope at the rear. The player missing this green long and/or left will do well to make three. As you walk from the tee be sure to note the "aged" oak tree, whose folklore takes it back to when troops camped out beneath it prior to the Battle of White Plains in 1776.
